Desi Tori Ki Sabzi

DESI TORI / TORAI KI SABZI

Recipe Type: Lunch / Dinner

Preparation Time: 10 – 12 mins

Cooking Time: 12 – 15 mins

Serves: 4 – 5

 

INGREDIENTS:

  • ½ Kg Desi Tori / Torai (Washed, Peeled & Cut into medium sized pieces)
  • 2 medium sized Onions finely chopped
  • ½ teaspoon Red Chilli Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Haldi / Turmeric Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Garam Masala Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Black Pepper / Kali Mirch Powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 3 – 4 tablespoon Ghee

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Heat Ghee in Cooker, add Onions, sauté for 3 -4 mins
  2. Add Red Chilli Powder, Haldi, Salt & mix well. Add Tori/Torai and cook for 2 – 3 mins, then add very little water (according to preference), close the cooker with the upper lid and give 4 – 5 whistles
  3. Add Garam Masala Powder, Black Pepper / Kali Mirch Powder and mix well
  4. Serve Hot with Paratha / Chapati / Roti
