Gajjar Gur Ke Meethe Chawal

GAJJAR KE MEETHE GUR CHAWAL

Cooking Time : 20 – 25 mins

Serves: 4

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup Rice (soaked 20-25 mins before)
  • 250 gm Gur / Jaggery
  • ½ cup Grated Carrot/Gajjar
  • 2-3 Elachi / Green Cardamom
  • 4 – 5 tablespoon Ghee
  • 2 cup Water

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Heat 2 cup water in Pan and add Gur/Jaggery, cook till the Jaggery is melted. Keep it aside
  2. Heat Ghee in Cooker and add Gajjar & Elachi, cook for 2-3 mins
  3. Add soaked rice and cook for another 1-2 mins, then add Jaggery water, mix well and close the Cooker with upper lit. Give 2-3 whistles (do not take out the steam of the cooker)
  4. Serve hot
