Garlic Bread with Baked Beans

GARLIC BREAD WITH BAKED BEANS

Recipe Type: Side Dish

Preparation Time:  5 – 7 mins

Cooking Time: 5 – 10 mins

Servings: 4

 

INGREDIENTS:

For Garlic Bread

  • 8 – 10 Slices of White or Brown or Multi Grain Bread
  • 2 – 3 Garlic Cloves, crushed
  • 2 – 3 tablespoons butter

For Baked Beans

  • 1 tin of Baked Beans
  • 1 small sized Onion for baked beans
  • 1 Green Chillies finely chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • ½ teaspoon Oregano
  • 1 tablespoon of Butter / Oil

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

For Garlic Bread

  1. Take a Pan, add Garlic & Butter and heat on moderate-low flame for 20-30 secs or in microwave for 30 secs (Use microwave safe dish)
  2. First Method:  Take slices & apply/Brush with garlic butter mix. Toast them in Microwave Oven mode for 3-4 mins or till the time bread is toasted
  3. Second Method: Take a non-stick pan, heat on low flame & cook the bread from both the sides till it is crispy light brown. Apply Butter Garlic mix and Serve Hot with Baked Beans.

For Baked Beans:

  1. Heat oil in a Pan & add onions, Green Chillies & saute for 2 mins or till onions are translucent. Add baked beans, salt to taste, Oregano & very little water and give a full bowl & cook for 2-3 mins on low flame
