Gobhi Matar

GOBHI MATAR KI SUBZI

Recipe Type : Lunch / Dinner

Preparation Time : 10 – 15 mins

Cooking Time : 20 – 25 mins

Serves: 4 – 5

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 kg Gobhi cut into long pieces (washed & checked)
  • 1 cup of Matar / Green Peas
  • 2 small sized Potatoes/Aloo, washed, peeled, cut into long pieces
  • 1 -2 inch Ginger finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Red Chilli Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Haldi / Turmeric Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garam Masala Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Kali Mirch / Black Pepper Powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for cooking

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Heat Oil in Kadai / Pan and add Ginger and sauté for 1-2 mins
  2. Add Turmeric Powder / Haldi, Red Chilli Powder & Salt, mix well, immediately add Gobhi, Matar, Potatoes/Aloo and cook for 20- 25 mins on low flame, or till the time vegetables are cooked properly
  1. Add Garam Masala, Kali Mirch Powder, mix well and Serve hot with Chapati or Roti
