JEERA ALOO

Cooking Time: 10 – 15 mins

INGREDIENTS:

  • 6 boiled Potatoes / Aloo, cut into small pieces
  • 1 teaspoon Jeera / Cumin Seeds
  • ½ teaspoon Dhaniya / Coriander Seeds
  • ½ teaspoon Red Chilli Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Black Pepper / Kali Mirch Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Garam Masala
  • ½ teaspoon Amchoor/ Dry Mango Powder
  • 2-3 Green chillies cut into small pieces
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 – 3 tablespoon Oil for Cooking
  • Fresh coriander leaves for Garnishing

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Roast Jeera / Cumin Seeds (1/2 teaspoon) & Dhaniya Seeds in Pan for 2-3 mins, then lightly crush in Motor & pastel (Kundi sota)
  2. Heat oil in same Pan, add little Jeera / Cumin Seeds (1/2 teaspoon) and cook for few seconds
  3. Then add Roasted mix, Red Chilli Powder, Green Chillies & boiled aloo pieces, Amchoor, Salt, Kali Mirch Powder, Garam Masala and mix well, cook for 3-4 mins on low flame
  4. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot
