  • 1 cup Wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup Besan / Gram flour
  • 1 cup Methi leaves finely chopped
  • 2 - 3 Green Chillis chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon Dhaniya / Coriander Seeds crushed
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil / Desi Ghee for cooking

Recipe Type : Breakfast


  1. Add Wheat flour, Gram Flour, Methi leaves, Green Chillies, Dhaniya / Coriander Seeds, Salt and mix well
  2. Add sufficient Water and knead into a soft dough
  3. Take small portions of dough & make a round ball like roti, On rolling board, roll out thinly into a Paratha and spread little oil/ghee over the Paratha. Lift the dough from one side & again lift the dough from other side (will look like a Square or triangle), roll out again into a Paratha (use dry wheat flour whenever required)
  4. Heat a tawa and cook the paratha from both sides with little oil/ghee applied on both sides
  5. Serve hot with white/yellow butter or Curd or tea
