Ingredients

  • 250-300 gm Besan / Gram Flour
  • 2 medium sized Onions sliced (long)
  • 1 cup Palak / Spinach leaves chopped
  • 2 - 3 Green Chillies finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red Chilli Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper / Kali Mirch Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Coriander Seeds / Sukha Dhaniya, crushed
  • Salt to taste
  • Mustard Oil for deep fry

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Take Besan in a bowl & add sliced onions, Palak leaves, Salt, Green Chillies, Red Chilli Powder, Black Pepper / Kali Mirch Powder, crushed Coriander Seeds / Sukha Dhaniya and mix well
  2. Add sufficient water to make thick batter [not very thick]
  3. Heat Mustard oil in a Pan to Smoking Point, and add drop a spoonful (small, medium, big as per your preference) of batter in oil with hands and deep fry the pieces till it is cooked or golden brown
  4. Serve hot with Sauce & Mint Chutney
