Paneer Bhurji Sandwich

PANEER BHURJI SANDWICH

Cooking Time : 12-15 mins

INGREDIENTS:

  • 400 gms Paneer (Grated)
  • 2 medium sized Onions chopped
  • 5 medium sized Tomatoes (Grated or finely chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger Paste or in long thin slices
  • ½ teaspoon Red Chilli Powder & ½ teaspoon Kashmiri Mirch for colour
  • ½ teaspoon Garam Masala Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Black Pepper / Kali Mirch Powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil/Ghee/Butter for Cooking
  • 10-12 Bread slices

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Heat oil in Kadai / non-stick Pan and add Onions & Ginger and sauté for 3-4 mins
  2. Add Red Chilli Powder, Salt & grated Tomatoes & mix well, cook for 3 – 4 mins on high flame
  3. Add Paneer and cook till mixture started leaving oil
  4. Turn-off flame & add Garam Masala Powder, Black Pepper / Kali Mirch Powder and mix well, keep aside to get it cool
  5. Spread Paneer Bhurji on the bread slice, put another slice of bread to make the sandwich. Apply butter on the outer sides of the sandwich
  6. On a heated sandwich maker place the sandwich, close the sandwich maker and cook for 2-3 minutes till the sandwiches are crisp and golden brown
  7. You can use Tawa also in place of Sandwich maker. Cook the sandwich on preheated tawa till it is crispy.
  8. Serve hot

 

*We can also make the sandwiches from left over Paneer Bhurji.
