Serves: 4

 

INGREDIENTS:

  • 4 – 5 Medium sized Aloo (Washed, Peeled & cut into medium pieces)
  • 1 cup Matar/Green Peas
  • 1 big sized Onion finely chopped
  • 3 medium sized Tomatoes Grated
  • ¾ teaspoon Red Chilli Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Kashmiri Mirch Powder (for color – Optional)
  • ¾ teaspoon Haldi / Turmeric Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Kali Mirch / Black Pepper Powder
  • ¾ teaspoon Garam Masala
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for cooking

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Heat Oil in Cooker, add Onions and sauté for 2 mins till the onions are translucent
  2. Add Red Chilli Powder, Kashmiri Mirch, Haldi / Turmeric Powder, Salt, mix well and add tomatoes & cook till the mixture leaves oil
  3. Add Aloo, Matar, cook for 2-3 mins & add 1½ glass of water (gravy thickness as per preference) and cover the cooker with upper lid and give 4-5 whistle
  4. Add Kali Mirch / Black Pepper Powder & Garam Masala, mix well
  5. Serve Hot with Roti/Paratha
