BHADANG (MURMURA NAMKEEN)

Ingredients

Murmure / Puffed Rice 100 - 150 gms
Peanuts 1 small bowl
Chana 1 small bowl
Garlic cloves finely chopped 5 - 6
Lemons 2
Sarson 1/2 teaspoon
Jeera / Cumin Seeds 1/2 teaspoon
Til / Sesame 1/2 teaspoon
Red Chilli Powder 1/2 teaspoon
Haldi 1/2 teaspoon
Sugar (preferable powder) 1 teaspoon
to taste Salt
Curry Leaves 10 - 12
Oil 2 - 3 tablespoon

Recipe Type: Evening Snacks

INSTRUCTIONS:                                                                                 

  1. First warm up oil in a Pan / Kadai and add Sarson & cook for 1 min
  2. Then add Garlic and Saute for 1 – 2 mins
  3. Add Jeera, Til, Curry leaves, Red Chilli Powder, Haldi, Salt to taste & Squeeze lemon and mix well. Keep stirring continuously
  4. Cook it for 2 – 3 mins or till the Lemon juice gets dry. Mix well and make sure it won’t burn. Keep stirring continuously
  5. Then Add Murmure, Peanuts, Chana & Sugar and cook for 5 mins. Mix well
  6. Let it cool at room temperature and Store it in a air tight container
  7. Serve as a Evening Snacks

* You can also add finely chopped onions & serve for added flavor.
