DESI STYLE VEG PASTA

Recipe Type: Snacks

Serves: 5 – 6

Preparation Time: 30 – 35 mins

 

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 Packet Pasta
  • 3 medium sized Onion cut into long thin slices
  • 2 small sized Capsicum cut into long thin slices
  • 4 medium sized Tomatoes finely chopped
  • 10 – 12 pieces of Garlic
  • 5 – 6 tablespoon Tomato Ketchup
  • 2 – 3 tablespoon Hot & Sweet Ketchup (if available)
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Red Chilli Powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for cooking

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Boil 1-2 litre water (sufficient water for boiling) in Pan and add Pasta, 1 tablespoon Oil & little Salt, cook for 15 – 20 mins or till the Pasta is cooked. Take a strainer & drain the starchy water. Put some normal water on it, so that the pasta doesn’t stick to each other
  2. Heat Oil in Pan, add Onion & garlic, saute for 2-3 mins, then add capsicum & cook for 2-3 mins. Add tomatoes and cook for 5-7 mins or till the mix starts leaving oil (On high/medium flame)
  3. Add Red Chilli Powder, Black Pepper Powder, Salt, Tomato Ketchup and Hot & Sweet Ketchup, mix well
  4. Add Pasta and mix well, cook for 3-4 mins on low flame
  5. Serve hot
