MASALA ALOO / BABY POTATOES

Ingredients

Baby Potatoes / Small Potatoes 1/2 Kg
Turmeric / Haldi Powder 1/2 teaspoon
Red Chilli Powder 1/2 teaspoon
Kali Mirch / Black Pepper Powder 1/2 teaspoon
Garam Masala Powder 1/2 teaspoon
Amchoor / Mango Powder 1/2 teaspoon
Salt to taste
Mustard Oil for cooking

Recipe Type : Lunch / Dinner / Side Dish

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Wash the baby potatoes well & cut into 2 pieces
  2. Heat Mustard oil in a Pan/Kadai to Smoking Point, keep the flame on sim
  3. Once the oil is Luke warm (so that spices are not burnt), add Turmeric Powder, Red Chilli Powder, Salt, Potatoes, mix well and cook for 25-30 mins on low flame or till the time potatoes are well cooked
  4. Add Kali Mirch / Black Pepper Powder, Garam Masala, Amchoor & mix well
  5. Serve hot with Parathas & Curd
