MUTTON DAHI CURRY

Ingredients

Mutton 500 gms
Curd 1 cup beaten
Onion sliced 2 medium size
Ginger 1 tablespoon
Garlic 1 tablespoon
Green Chillies 4 - 5
Red Chilli Powder 1 teaspoon
Cumin / Jeera Powder 1 teaspoon
Dhania / Coriander Powder 1 teaspoon
Haldi 1/2 teaspoon
Black Pepper 1/2 teaspoon
Cream 4 - 5 tablespoon
Oil 4 - 5 tablespoon
to taste Salt

Recipe Type: Lunch / Dinner

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Take Oil in cooker and add Ginger Garlic paste & Onion and saute for 1 min
  2. Then add mutton & mix well and fry for 10 mins on low flame (the colour of the mutton will start changing)
  3. Add Red chilli powder, Haldi & Salt to taste and cook for 5-7 mins
  4. Then add Curd & remaining spices i.e. Green Chillies, Jeera Powder, Dhania Powder, Black Pepper and mix well
  5. Cover the cooker with the plate, cook for 30 mins on low flame (keep checking & stirring after every 5-7 mins) and after that add little water & cover the cooker with upper lid and give 4 whistles
  6. Add little cream & serve hot
