QUICK VRAT ALOO (NAVRATRI FASTING ALOO)

Ingredients

Boiled Potatoes / Aloo medium sized (cut into small pieces) 6
Cumin / Jeera Seeds 1 teaspoon
Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder (for colour) 1 teaspoon
Red Chilli Powder (Kutti) ½ teaspoon
Dhaniya Powder/ Coriander Powder 1 teaspoon
Garam Masala 3/4 teaspoon
Black Pepper / Kali Mirch Powder 3/4 teaspoon
Amchoor 1/2 teaspoon
Sendha Namak / Rock Salt to taste
Oil for cooking

Quick Vrat Aloo recipe for Navratri Special..

Directions

  1. Heat Oil in Kadai, add Jeera wait for few seconds, then add Kashmiri Mirch, Mirch Kutti, Dhaniya Powder, mix well and immediately add boiled aloos, cook for 3-4 mins on low flame
  2. Switch off the flame, add Garam Masala, Kali Mirch & Amchoor, mix well and serve hot
