STUFFED CAPSICUM / BHARWAN SHIMLA MIRCH

Ingredients

Capsicum 4 medium sized
Boiled Potatoes 3 – 4 medium sized
Onion finely chopped 1 small sized
Green Chillies chopped 2 - 3
Red Chilli Powder 1/2 teaspoon
Kali Mirch / Black Pepper Powder 1/2 teaspoon
Garam Masala 1/2 teaspoon
Dry Mango Powder / Amchoor 1/2 teaspoon
Salt to taste
Oil for cooking

Recipe Type : Lunch / Dinner

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Mash Potatoes in a bowl, add Onions, Green Chillies, Red Chilli Powder, Kali Mirch / Black Pepper Powder, Garam Masala, Amchoor / Mango Powder, Salt and mix well
  2. Take capsicums and remove the upper stick, inner seeds and stuff the potato mixture in each capsicum with a spoon or with your hands
  3. Heat oil in a Pan/Kadai, place all the stuffed capsicums, cover with the upper lit & cook on low flame
  4. Check repeatedly after 4-5 mins & change the side of the capsicums, so that all sides are cooked properly (it will get golden brown & wrinkled)
  5. Serve hot with Chapati / Paratha
